Snowy Days!

We really did enjoy the snowy days around our house. I am not much on the wet stuff myself, but seeing the girls play and enjoy it made it worth the trips outside. We do not have a "real" sled so B decided he would make us one out of an old plastic pool that was big A's at one time and when she grew out of it we used it for our dog in the summer so he could cool off. It worked and the girls really seemed to enjoy it!

SLEEP NEEDED!!!!!

As I sit here and post on my blog I could just fall out and probably not wake up for days. My sweet little A is a year old now and still does not sleep all night. So that means I have been sleep deprived for a year now. Well, actually longer considering the last few months of my pregnancy. I have been doing pretty well with little sleep until recently. It has finally caught up with me and it is showing. I have no extra energy when I get home. I have to make myself cook, clean, and all of the other household chores that come along with being a mother and a wife. If I could go to sleep and have absolutely no interruptions, I am sure that I would not wake up for days. Oh, how I would enjoy that. The purpose of me posting this is so that if you see me out and you think I look awful with those dark circles under my eyes and I look as though I have aged you will know why. I am SLEEPY!!!

Daddy surprised everyone with some special gifts this year that he picked out all by himself. I even had a little surprise. Thank you Brad for being such a wonderful father and husband. You made our day extra special.

Recently my baby turned ONE!! I can't believe it has already been a year. We had decided to not to go overboard with Lil A's birthday party because there is not really much a one year old can do. We were just going to have grandparents and a few others to come over for cake and icecream. Due the first round of snow we decided to cancel and try again the next weekend. However, the second attempt was canceled because Addie woke up with the stomach virus:( It was to late to cancel the cake so we decided we would just go ahead and celebrate with no party guests. Nonnie and PawPaw were able to come by and enjoy a good piece of cake. We ended up having a great time and there was no stress:))

Lesson Learned

One would think I had learned my lesson to never say never. Well I guess I didn't. Just the other day Brad and I were talking about how he gets sick more often than I do. I made the mistake of saying "I never get sick, the good lord doesn't allow mommies to be sick". Well guess what, I feel like crap. I went to the doctor this morning because my ear was killing me, my throat was killing me and I felt just yuck all over. They said it was just a sinus infection. However, I think this is the worst sinus infection I have ever had. Anyway, I believe I have completely learned my lesson. I will have to come up with another thing to say.

Never Say Never

I should have never said "I will never blog". I always thought that blogging was something that I would never get into. However, after two kids with lots of memories to cherish, many blogging friends, and little time for scrapbooking, I have decided to enter the blogging world.
